Clinical Application
This clamp is designed to provide temporary occlusion and securement of flexible medical tubing during setup, priming, line changes and intraoperative handling. It is used to stop flow in IV sets, suction and drainage tubing, urinary catheters and other soft-lumen devices where a reliable, reversible occlusion is required without cutting or removing the line.
Design & Configuration
The straight 15 cm length gives clinicians good reach and manual control for bedside, procedure room and operating theatre use. Serrated jaws improve purchase on silicone, PVC and rubber tubing, reducing slippage when lines are under tension. The integrated clip provides a positive locking function to maintain closure hands-free when sustained occlusion or temporary fixation is needed.
