Clinical Application
This right-oriented bone curette is intended for targeted removal of bone and soft-tissue debris, controlled debridement of osseous surfaces, and shaping or contouring of bone in procedures that require precision scraping. It is commonly used in orthopedic and podiatric procedures, oral/maxillofacial surgery, and ENT cases where access to right-sided or laterally positioned bone surfaces is required. The 16 cm shaft provides reach into deeper operative sites while maintaining manual control for delicate bone work.
Design & Configuration
The instrument’s right orientation positions the working tip for improved access to right-sided anatomy and lateral bone surfaces without excessive manipulation of surrounding tissue. The 16 cm length balances reach and tactile control, helping the surgeon maintain a consistent cutting angle. The Fig.2 tip geometry is shaped to permit efficient scraping and scooping actions while allowing visual and tactile feedback during curettage.
