Clinical Application
This right-oriented bone curette is designed for controlled scraping and debridement of bone and removal of soft or granulation tissue from bony cavities and surfaces. It is used in a range of procedures where precise bone contouring or clearance is required, including orthopedic and podiatric procedures, hand surgery, selected ENT and oral/maxillofacial applications, and neurosurgical bone work involving small cavities.
Design & Configuration
The right-curved scoop geometry provides an offset working angle that improves line-of-sight and access when working on the patient’s right-sided anatomy or lateral bone surfaces. The spoon-shaped tip allows the surgeon to apply controlled shearing forces for scraping and scooping while minimizing inadvertent trauma to adjacent soft tissues. The 16 cm overall length gives a balance of reach and control for both superficial and moderately deep bony sites.
