Clinical Application

Designed for intranasal and rhinologic procedures, this long-shaft nasal forceps provides controlled grasping and retrieval of soft tissue, cartilage fragments, packing, or small foreign bodies in confined nasal cavities. Its shaft length and clinical geometry facilitate access to deeper intranasal and posterior septal areas encountered in septoplasty, turbinate procedures, endoscopic sinus surgery adjuncts, and clinic-level foreign-body removal.

Design & Configuration

The slender, elongated shaft geometry allows the surgeon to reach beyond the vestibule while maintaining tactile feedback at the jaws, reducing the need for excessive retraction. The Fig.2 configuration denotes an angulation and working profile optimized for intranasal reach and line-of-sight preservation when used with standard nasal retractors or endoscopes. The shaft length reduces hand crowding at the nostril and improves access to posterior intranasal targets.
