Clinical Application
Provides controlled anterior nasal cavity exposure for diagnostic inspection and minor intranasal procedures. Common uses include anterior septal and turbinate inspection, evaluation of mucosal pathology, removal of anterior foreign bodies, and providing access for office-based procedures performed under local anesthesia. The 38 mm maximum spread offers moderate dilation appropriate for most adult anterior nasal vestibule examinations.
Design & Configuration
Two opposing blades deliver bilateral retraction to open the nasal vestibule and anterior cavity without requiring excessive lateral force. The adjustable blade spread allows the clinician to progressively increase exposure to the desired 38 mm maximum, enabling precise visualization while minimizing patient discomfort. The slim blade geometry improves anterior access and line-of-sight for direct inspection and instrument passage.
