Clinical Application

This curette is designed for gynecologic uterine curettage procedures including dilation and curettage (D&C), removal of retained products of conception, postpartum membrane evacuation, and targeted endometrial sampling. The 7 mm spoon/scoop working end provides a moderate surface area for controlled scraping and tissue retrieval while minimizing excessive trauma to the endometrium. The instrument is intended for use under speculum and tenaculum stabilization and may be shaped to follow a patient’s uterine axis when the malleable shaft is adjusted.

Design & Configuration

The malleable shaft allows the clinician to contour the instrument to the individual uterine curvature, improving access and tactile feedback during blind curettage.
