Clinical Application

Designed for anorectal exposure and access, this speculum facilitates visualization and intervention in the distal rectum. Common uses include diagnostic rectal examination, proctoscopy and anoscopy, exposure for targeted biopsies, topical therapy delivery, removal of small foreign bodies, and minor operative procedures in the anorectal canal. The length provides reach for deeper visualization while remaining suitable for office and ambulatory surgical settings. Use in the left lateral (Sims) or lithotomy position as clinically appropriate.

Design & Configuration

The single, slightly curved blade geometry aligns with the natural curvature of the rectum to improve line-of-sight and minimize mucosal folding.
