Clinical Application
This flushing curette is intended for controlled removal of soft tissue and debris from confined body cavities while permitting simultaneous irrigation. Common uses include uterine cavity procedures (diagnostic or therapeutic curettage, endometrial sampling, and evacuation), as well as other small-cavity applications where a scoop-type curette combined with active flushing improves tissue mobilization and removal.
Design & Configuration
The instrument combines a spoon-shaped curette tip with an integrated flushing channel. The curette geometry provides a broad scooping surface to capture and remove tissue fragments, while the irrigation lumen permits targeted saline flow to loosen adherent material and maintain a clearer operative field. The 29 cm shaft length provides reach for deeper cavities or procedures requiring additional working length without sacrificing control at the tip.
