Clinical Application

This rigid Recamier curette is designed for gynecologic intrauterine procedures where controlled scraping or sampling of endometrial tissue is required. Common uses include diagnostic and therapeutic dilation and curettage (D&C), endometrial biopsy, and removal of retained soft tissue or products of conception. The 8 mm tip diameter provides a defined scraping surface suitable for obtaining tissue for histology or for conservative debridement while limiting the surface area engaged on each pass.
