Clinical Application

This flexible Recamier curette is intended for operative and diagnostic gynecologic procedures requiring controlled scraping or scooping of soft tissue from a cavity. Typical uses include dilation and curettage (D&C), endometrial sampling, removal of polyps or retained products, and other procedures where a pliable working end allows atraumatic engagement of cavity lining.

Design & Configuration

The flexible shaft and 21 mm working blade provide a balance of reach and surface area: flexibility permits the working end to follow natural anatomic curvature while reducing focal pressure on tissue, and the 21 mm blade offers an effective scraping surface for efficient tissue removal. The 31 cm overall length is designed to give adequate working reach for uterine and pelvic cavity access while allowing precise tactile feedback for the operator.
