Clinical Application
This Luer trachea tube Fig.9, 13 mm is intended to provide a secure, standardized interface for temporary airway access and management. It is used during tracheostomy care, controlled ventilation, suctioning or when connecting airway devices and breathing circuits to the trachea. The 13 mm bore provides a relatively large lumen suitable for adult airway workflows where reduced resistance and easier passage of suction catheters or scopes are required.
Design & Configuration
The integrated Luer connection ensures a leak-resistant, standardized coupling to syringes, adapters and ventilator or breathing circuit fittings. The Fig.9 configuration denotes the manufacturer's pattern intended for tracheal access and secure in-line connections; the geometry and connector interface prioritize unobstructed flow and reliable mechanical attachment during intraoperative and postoperative airway management.
