Clinical Application
This 10 mm Luer tracheal tube is intended to establish and maintain a secure airway when direct access to the trachea is required. It is suitable for controlled ventilation, suctioning, and passage of small adjuncts during tracheostomy, head & neck, ENT and perioperative airway management. The larger 10 mm lumen supports high-flow ventilation and facilitates removal of secretions compared with smaller-bore tubes.
Design & Configuration
The Luer connector provides a standardized, secure interface to anesthesia circuits, ventilators and suction apparatus; this minimizes disconnection risk during procedures. The Fig.6 pattern denotes a specific tube geometry used to optimize alignment with the tracheal axis and clinical handling. A smooth internal lumen and atraumatic tip geometry reduce flow resistance and help limit mucosal irritation during placement and in-situ use.
