Clinical Application

Designed for endoscopic removal of foreign bodies and loose tissue during rigid endoscopy, this long-reach forceps provide access to the central airway, mainstem bronchi and proximal esophagus. It is used routinely in otolaryngology, thoracic surgery, pulmonology and emergency departments when direct visualization with a rigid bronchoscope or esophagoscope is employed. The 50 cm shaft permits secure retrieval of objects located deep within the airway while maintaining surgeon control at the proximal handle.

Design & Configuration

The extended 50 cm shaft provides the reach required for adult bronchoscopic procedures while maintaining sufficient rigidity for controlled manipulation. The distal grasping jaws are configured to capture and retain small-to-moderate-size foreign bodies with minimal slippage, reducing the need for repeated instrumentation.
