Clinical Application
Designed for controlled retrieval of foreign bodies from the upper airway, trachea and bronchi, this long-forceps pattern supports removal of coins, food boluses, organic material and small inert objects during rigid bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy or direct visualization procedures. The extended length permits reach into the proximal bronchial tree while maintaining tactile feedback for precise grasping and extraction.
Design & Configuration
The extended 30 cm shaft provides additional working length needed in airway and ENT procedures where access is limited. A slim shaft profile minimizes obstruction of the line of sight through a bronchoscope or laryngoscope and reduces instrument crowding in the oral cavity. The precision jaws are configured to secure small objects reliably while limiting contact area to reduce mucosal trauma during retrieval.
