Clinical Application
Designed for airway and endoscopic use, this long rigid forceps is intended to provide controlled grasping and retrieval of foreign bodies and loose material within the upper and lower tracheobronchial tree during rigid bronchoscopy and related laryngology procedures. The 40 cm working length permits access to distal tracheal and bronchial locations while allowing the operator to maintain tactile control at the proximal handle.
Design & Configuration
The elongated, rigid shaft geometry provides a straight working channel appropriate for use through rigid endoscopes or under direct laryngoscopic visualization. A hand-held configuration gives the operator direct manual feedback for precise positioning and controlled extraction. The length minimizes the need for repeated scope exchanges when retrieving items from deeper airways, reducing procedure time and instrument handling.
