Clinical Application

The 1×2 prong configuration gives an asymmetric bite: a single-prong countered by a two-prong opposite surface. The right-sided orientation directs the prongs to the operator’s right when held in the usual position, improving access and visibility for right-sided approaches or when counter-traction on the right is required.
