Clinical Application
Designed for precise dissection and cutting of delicate soft tissues, these Metzenbaum Fino scissors are commonly used in general, plastic/reconstructive, ENT, gynecologic and pediatric procedures where controlled, low‑trauma separation of tissue planes is required. The fine curved tips permit close work around neurovascular bundles and small structures while minimizing collateral tissue injury. Not intended for cutting heavy fascia, wire or suture material.
Design & Configuration
The curved geometry with fine tapered blades provides improved visualization and access in deep or confined operative fields. A long shank-to-blade ratio allows the surgeon to reach farther into cavities while keeping the hand clear of the exposure. Sharp/sharp blade edges deliver clean, precise cuts for both sharp dissection and controlled trimming; the curved profile also facilitates dissecting along curved tissue planes.
