Design & Configuration

The Fig.3 distal angulation positions the cutting cup to access the superior nasopharyngeal vault while the 25 cm shaft provides reach appropriate for standard transoral access. An unperforated cup eliminates holes in the cutting surface so tissue is contained within the cup during excision, which can improve visualization of the resection plane and reduce fragmentation. The overall geometry is optimized for direct, controlled tissue capture and single-stroke removal typical in conventional adenoidectomy technique.
