Clinical Application
Designed to provide controlled access to the maxillary antrum for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Common uses include aspiration of sinus contents, antral lavage for infection management, collection of cultures, and instillation of topical agents. The cannula is suited for both office-based ENT interventions and intraoperative use where targeted access to the maxillary sinus is required.
Design & Configuration
The narrow 1.5 mm calibre minimizes tissue displacement and reduces mucosal trauma during insertion through small puncture sites or natural sinus openings. The 16.5 cm shaft length allows reach to the antrum from transnasal, transoral or transcutaneous approaches without sacrificing control. The slim, rigid profile provides predictable steering and stable placement for aspiration and irrigation maneuvers.
