Clinical Application

Designed for controlled irrigation and lavage of the paranasal sinuses during diagnostic and operative ENT procedures. The 3 mm right-oriented tip provides access to lateral recesses and confined anatomic spaces encountered in endoscopic sinus surgery, debridement, and intraoperative cavity flushing. It is used to deliver saline or medicated solutions to dislodge debris, dilute blood or secretions, and improve visualization during mucosal preservation and tissue-sparing interventions.

Design & Configuration

The Hartmann pattern combines a slender 3 mm profile with a right-curved distal geometry to facilitate targeted delivery of irrigation fluid to right-sided sinus recesses without excessive instrument manipulation. The atraumatic, rounded distal contour minimizes mucosal trauma when advancing into narrow ostia and recesses. The straight proximal shaft preserves tactile control for the surgeon while the right-facing distal orientation allows predictable directional flow and access when working through an endonasal corridor.
