Clinical Application
Designed to deliver controlled irrigation and lavage within the paranasal sinuses and narrow nasal recesses. Commonly used during endoscopic sinus surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), and in-office sinus lavage to remove blood, debris, mucus, and topical medication. The left orientation facilitates targeted access to left-sided maxillary, ethmoid, and frontal recesses while minimizing trauma to adjacent mucosa.
Design & Configuration
The left-angled geometry provides an approach vector that follows left sinonasal anatomy, allowing the surgeon or assistant to reach posterior and lateral recesses with improved line-of-sight and reduced instrument collision. A 3 mm lumen balances flow rate and control—large enough for effective irrigation yet narrow enough for precise delivery in confined spaces. The rounded, atraumatic tip reduces mucosal snagging during insertion and irrigation.
