Clinical Application
Designed for controlled irrigation and lavage of the paranasal sinuses during otolaryngology procedures. Provides directed delivery or gentle flushing of saline, topical agents, or irrigating solutions to clear blood, mucous, and debris from sinus cavities intraoperatively or during office procedures. The right-oriented tip facilitates access to right-sided maxillary, ethmoid and anterior sphenoid recesses without excessive mucosal contact.
Design & Configuration
The Hartmann pattern features a slim shaft and a small-diameter lumen to permit precise, low-profile fluid delivery into narrow sinonasal corridors. The 2 mm tip diameter and right-curved orientation direct flow to target anatomy while minimizing obstruction of the visual field and reducing the need for repeated repositioning. The simple, straight handle design facilitates one-handed control and coordinated use with suction and endoscopic instruments.
