Clinical Application

Designed to provide atraumatic exposure of the anterior nasal cavity for diagnostic and minor therapeutic procedures. Ideal for anterior rhinoscopy, inspection of the septum and turbinates, removal of intranasal foreign bodies, anterior epistaxis management, localized biopsy or debridement, and routine ENT examinations in clinic, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospital settings.

Design & Configuration

The bivalve, hinged geometry permits controlled lateral dilation of the nasal vestibule to optimize visualization while minimizing soft-tissue trauma. An adjustable opening allows the operator to set and maintain the working aperture for hands-free exposure during short procedures or while using ancillary instruments such as suction, forceps, or curettes. Rounded blade edges reduce mucosal pressure points and help preserve the delicate nasal lining during manipulation.
