Clinical Application
Designed for intranasal septal work, this right-oriented septum forceps provides controlled grasping and manipulation of septal cartilage and mucoperichondrial tissue during septoplasty, septal reconstruction, and other rhinologic procedures. The 23 cm length allows access to the deeper intranasal recesses and surgical field while maintaining tactile feedback for delicate tissue handling. Right orientation improves approach and line-of-sight when working on the patient’s right nasal cavity or when the surgeon requires a right-handed access angle.
Design & Configuration
The instrument’s long, slender shaft gives surgeons extended reach into the nasal cavity without crowding the operative field. A dedicated right-oriented jaw geometry aligns with typical endonasal approaches to the right septum, enabling more ergonomic wrist positioning and more precise tip placement. The narrow tip profile is intended to reduce soft-tissue obstruction and permit targeted grasping of septal tissue during flap elevation, cartilage trimming, and intraoperative repositioning.
