Clinical Application

This instrument is designed for mucoperichondrial and submucosal elevation during septoplasty, septal reconstruction and related nasal airway procedures. The elevator is used to develop precise dissection planes beneath the nasal mucosa and perichondrium, mobilize septal cartilage and bone, and create working space for cartilage reshaping, graft placement or removal of deviated segments. Its configuration facilitates controlled, atraumatic elevation to preserve mucosal integrity and reduce the risk of perforation.

Design & Configuration

The double-ended configuration provides two complementary tip profiles on a single shaft, allowing the surgeon to switch between approaches without changing instruments. The 21 cm overall length offers sufficient reach for both anterior and more posterior septal work while keeping the handle removed from the operative field for improved ergonomics. Blade geometry and tip contour are optimized for sheet-like elevation of mucoperichondrial flaps, enabling smooth propagation of the dissection plane with tactile feedback to minimize tissue trauma.
