Clinical Application
Used to retract the lateral and medial nasal vestibular walls to expose the internal nasal cavity during diagnostic nasal endoscopy, anterior nasal procedures, foreign body removal, topical treatments, septal inspection, and minor in-office ENT procedures. The instrument provides stable bilateral retraction to improve visualization of the anterior nares, vestibule and anterior septum, facilitating precise assessment, instrument passage, or surgical maneuvers.
Design & Configuration
The Cottle-style double-blade geometry delivers even, bilateral retraction of the nostril opening. A side-mounted locking screw permits fine adjustment and secure maintenance of the chosen aperture, enabling single-handed positioning while leaving the other hand free for instrumentation, suction or endoscopic visualization. The supplied 75 mm / 14 cm size offers a balance of reach and control appropriate for routine nasal cavity access.
