Clinical Application

Provides direct visualization and controlled exposure of the distal rectum and anal canal for diagnostic inspection, anoscopy, topical treatments, small biopsies, suture removal and other minor proctologic procedures performed in clinic, outpatient or ambulatory surgical settings. The 15 cm working length allows assessment and access into the mid-rectal vault while maintaining patient comfort and control for the examiner.

Design & Configuration

The Sims-style geometry is designed to gently displace and separate the rectal walls to create a clear line of sight to the mucosa without excessive dilation. A hand-held configuration gives the examiner tactile feedback and precise control during insertion, positioning and instrument passage. The length balances reach for mid-rectal visualization with ergonomic handling for office- and OR-based procedures.
