Clinical Application
This buttoned probe provides an atraumatic means to explore, dilate, and assess the patency of small lumens, sinuses, ducts and tract pathways. Its 1 mm rounded (buttoned) tip minimizes tissue trauma and reduces the risk of inadvertent perforation when probing delicate structures. Common clinical uses include exploration of sinus tracts and fistulae, guiding sutures or drains through confined channels, and assessing lumen continuity in ENT, general, urology and other soft-tissue procedures where blunt dissection and gentle probing are required.
Design & Configuration
The double-ended layout gives clinicians two working ends without needing to exchange instruments mid-case, improving efficiency and maintaining a sterile field. The small, 1 mm buttoned tips are designed to spread pressure over a rounded surface rather than a sharp point, which reduces point-loading on tissue and lowers the risk of tearing or creating false passages. The 20 cm overall length provides reach for deeper cavities or longer sinus tracts while preserving tactile feedback through the shaft for controlled advancement.

Material & Construction
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel for strength, corrosion resistance and long service life. The buttoned tips are precision-formed to ensure a smooth, rounded profile that resists tissue snagging. Finished surfaces facilitate cleaning, sterilization and inspection between cases. The instrument is intended for repeated use following appropriate cleaning and sterilization protocols.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
Comparable in form and function to equivalent instruments offered by major US medical suppliers.
