Clinical Application
Designed for delicate work in confined otologic spaces, this precision dissector is used to elevate soft-tissue flaps, separate mucosal planes, clear granulation tissue, and assist in fine dissection around the tympanic membrane and ossicular chain. Its slim profile and small working tip make it suitable for tympanoplasty, ossiculoplasty, canalplasty and other middle-ear or mastoid procedures performed under the operative microscope.
Design & Configuration
The instrument's narrow shaft and reduced-profile tip provide improved access and visibility within the external auditory canal and mesotympanum. The Fig.2 tip geometry delivers a small working surface that facilitates precise, low‑trauma elevation and dissection in tight anatomic corridors. Ergonomic balance and a tactile handle profile help surgeons maintain fine control during microsurgical maneuvers.
