Clinical Application

It is indicated for use during routine cerumen removal, canal debridement, tympanoplasty-related work, and other otologic procedures where precise, low‑profile excavation is required under microscopic or endoscopic visualization.

Design & Configuration

The Fig.4 pattern features a small, spoon-shaped working end on an angled shaft to improve access through narrow canals and constrained operative corridors. The angled geometry translates fine wrist movements into a precise scooping action, allowing the surgeon to remove soft material with tactile feedback while minimizing contact with surrounding structures. The slim shaft profile helps maintain visualization and instrument maneuverability under the operating microscope or endoscope.
