Clinical Application
Designed for controlled suction and irrigation in otologic procedures and clinic microsuction. The instrument is used to evacuate cerumen, blood, irrigation fluid, small debris, and loose foreign bodies from the external auditory canal and operative middle ear space. It is intended for use by otolaryngologists, audiologists, and trained clinical staff during diagnostic and surgical workflows where precise, low-trauma evacuation is required.
Design & Configuration
The Fig.4 pattern provides an offset/angled shaft geometry that facilitates direct access to the curved anatomy of the external auditory canal and improves line-of-sight under microscopic or loupe magnification. The single-port (SP) configuration concentrates suction through one lumen to provide controlled flow and reduce inadvertent tissue engagement. Smooth, atraumatic edges and a slender profile help minimize canal trauma while enabling targeted aspiration in confined spaces.
