Clinical Application
This oblique 3 mm punch is intended for precise circular tissue excision and core biopsies where a small-diameter specimen is required. The oblique orientation and 20 cm length facilitate access to deep or angled operative fields and improve approach in confined spaces such as ENT cavities, oral and maxillofacial sites, plastic/reconstructive procedures, and other soft-tissue work requiring controlled, atraumatic sampling or removal of small lesions.
Design & Configuration
The oblique configuration orients the cutting cup off-axis from the instrument shaft, allowing the operator to approach tissue at an angle without having the hand or shaft block the line of sight. A 3 mm cutting diameter produces small, well-defined cores suitable for histopathology or delicate excisions while minimizing collateral tissue loss. The 20 cm overall length provides additional reach for work through specula, small cavities, or deeper soft-tissue planes where a shorter punch would be impractical.
