Clinical Application

The locking cam/ratchet lets the assistant or primary surgeon set and maintain a stable span, reducing the need for repeated manual retraction and helping preserve the surgical corridor for visualization and instrumentation.

Design & Configuration

The cam/ratchet locking configuration provides incremental opening and secure fixation of the jaws at the desired span. A 70 mm maximum jaw span accommodates a wide range of adult laminar separations while the 17 cm overall length gives sufficient reach for cervical, thoracic and lumbar exposure without excessive hand fatigue.
