Clinical Application
This curved intestinal clamp provides temporary occlusion of small or large bowel during gastrointestinal procedures such as intestinal resection, anastomosis, stoma formation and other general or colorectal operations. The smooth jaw face is intended to minimize focal tissue crushing and reduce risk of bowel wall injury while securing a blood- and content-free field for safe tissue division and suturing.
Design & Configuration
The curved geometry permits atraumatic clamping around the bowel circumference and improved access around mesenteric attachments and deep abdominal fields. A 25 cm overall length offers increased reach from the incision to intra‑abdominal targets, keeping the surgeon’s hands clear of the operative site. The smooth jaw interface distributes clamping pressure across the tissue surface to reduce localized trauma compared with toothed patterns.
