Clinical Application
Designed for open gynecologic procedures, this curved hysterectomy forceps is used to grasp, retract and secure uterine tissue and pedicles during abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy. The geometry and length provide reach into the deep pelvis for controlled traction and temporary vessel control while preparing ligatures or applying definitive hemostatic measures.
Design & Configuration
The curved shaft and working tip allow the surgeon to approach uterine pedicles and surrounding tissue with improved line-of-sight and ergonomics compared with straight forceps. A 24 cm overall length provides additional reach for deep pelvic exposure without excessive shaft bulk. The pattern is optimized for secure tissue handling and predictable mechanical performance during repeated clamping and release cycles.
