Clinical Application
Designed to provide reliable exposure of the vaginal canal and cervix for routine gynecologic exams and minor procedures. The 105x38 mm blade dimensions offer increased visualization and working space for procedures such as Pap smear collection, IUD placement/removal, cervical biopsies, colposcopy-assisted evaluation, and other in-office interventions where stable, direct access to the cervix is required.
Design & Configuration
The bivalve, self-retaining design permits controlled separation of the vaginal walls and hands-free maintenance of the desired opening. An adjustable screw mechanism allows incremental control of blade separation to optimize visualization while minimizing pressure on surrounding tissue. Smooth blade surfaces and a gently contoured profile facilitate atraumatic insertion and reduce light reflection during colposcopic evaluation.
