Clinical Application
Designed to provide deeper vaginal access and improved visualization of the cervix and upper vaginal fornices. This deep configuration is useful during routine pelvic examinations, cervical sampling (Pap/HPV), IUD insertion and removal, colposcopy, and other minor gynecologic procedures where additional insertion depth is required to expose the cervix or when the cervix is positioned higher in the vaginal canal.
Design & Configuration
The deep, bivalved geometry increases anterior–posterior reach while the relatively narrow blade profile limits lateral tissue retraction, providing a focused field for inspection or instrument passage. The two-blade design allows straightforward opening and closure to expose the cervix and maintain visualization during sampling or device placement. The 110 x 30 mm footprint balances depth with a slim width to accommodate a range of patient anatomies and procedural needs.
