Clinical Application
Provides controlled exposure of the vaginal canal and introitus during vaginal and perineal procedures. The single-blade retractor is used to retract vaginal walls and soft tissues to improve visualization and access for procedures such as vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor repairs, episiotomy or tear repair, and other gynecologic or obstetric interventions performed through the vaginal route.
Design & Configuration
The handheld, single-blade geometry offers broad, uniform retraction across the vaginal mucosa while maintaining a low profile. The flat, solid blade distributes retraction force to reduce focal pressure on tissue and helps maintain a clear surgical field. A simple, ergonomic handle allows the assistant or primary surgeon to position and steady the blade precisely during exposure and repair.
