Clinical Application

Used to achieve controlled mechanical dilation of the cervix to allow safe access to the uterine cavity. The 20.5 mm diameter is selected when larger calibre dilation is required for operative hysteroscopy, removal of retained products, or when passage of larger uterine instruments or sheaths is necessary. The instrument provides direct tactile feedback to the operator to help minimize cervical trauma during progressive dilation.

A single-ended, solid dilator with a smooth, tapered cylindrical profile provides gradual, atraumatic dilation while reducing the risk of tissue snagging.
