Clinical Application

Used to achieve controlled cervical dilation prior to operative procedures. This size is selected when a larger cervical aperture is required for access during procedures such as dilation and curettage, hysteroscopy, IUD or device placement, and certain sterilization techniques. Typically employed as part of a graduated series of dilators to accomplish atraumatic, incremental dilation.

Design & Configuration
