Clinical Application

Used to achieve controlled mechanical dilation of the cervical canal prior to intrauterine procedures. The instrument's 11.0 mm diameter provides a defined dimension for progressive dilation protocols, enabling safe access for hysteroscopy, dilation and curettage, endometrial sampling, or insertion of intrauterine devices. Frequently employed sequentially with smaller and larger dilators to incrementally expand the cervical os while minimizing sudden stretching.
