Clinical Application

This Hegar dilator set provides a controlled, graduated series of rigid dilators for cervical dilation in gynecologic procedures. The set is intended to be used to achieve progressive mechanical dilation of the cervix prior to procedures such as dilation and curettage (D&C), diagnostic or operative hysteroscopy, intrauterine device placement, or treatment of cervical stenosis.
