Clinical Application
This malleable curette is intended for precise scraping, shaving and tissue removal where controlled curettage is required. Its 25 mm scoop provides a moderate working surface for evacuation of soft tissue, granulation, debris, or small lesions from confined cavities and recesses. The 34 cm overall length gives reach for deeper surgical sites while the short working end supports tactile feedback for controlled tissue removal.
Design & Configuration
The malleable shaft can be gently bent to adapt the instrument’s trajectory to patient anatomy or to improve access through narrow or angled approaches. A short (sh) working end concentrates force at the scoop edge, improving precision during targeted curettage. The 25 mm scoop diameter balances surface area and maneuverability for both bulk removal and fine debridement. The 34 cm length provides extended reach without compromising control at the handle.
