Clinical Application
A blunt rigid curette designed for atraumatic scooping, debridement and removal of soft tissue, granulation tissue, debris or small tissue specimens from confined or deep cavities. The 25 mm blunt tip provides a low-risk scraping surface useful where controlled tissue removal is required without sharp incisions, while the 34 cm rigid shaft extends reach to deeper sites where extra length and tactile feedback are necessary.
Design & Configuration
The instrument's rigid 34 cm shaft offers stability and direct transmission of force to the tip, allowing precise control during curettage in narrow or deep operative fields. The blunt, spoon-like 25 mm tip reduces the likelihood of inadvertent perforation compared with sharp curettes and is effective for scooping and blunt dissection. The Fig.13 designation identifies the manufacturer's tip profile and overall geometry, intended to balance tissue contact area with access in constrained spaces.
