Clinical Application
Designed to provide atraumatic separation and sustained exposure of narrow mucosal cavities, this speculum is used for direct visualization, diagnostic inspection, specimen collection, and minor in-office or operating-room procedures where a controlled opening and illumination access are required. Its dimensions make it suitable for procedures that need a longer reach with a moderate maximum opening.
Design & Configuration
The bivalve, hand-held geometry allows the operator to gently dilate the cavity while maintaining line-of-sight to mucosal surfaces. The 130 mm length provides extended reach into deeper anatomical canals while the 40 mm maximum span balances exposure with soft-tissue protection. A slim profile minimizes soft-tissue compression and facilitates instrument passage alongside the blades for suction, biopsy, or cautery.
