Clinical Application
Provides atraumatic exposure of the vaginal canal and cervix to facilitate diagnostic exams and minor gynecologic procedures. The complete set format supports routine clinic workflows such as cervical inspection, Pap sampling, IUD insertion, and instrumented minor procedures where secure, stable visualization of the cervix is required.
Design & Configuration
The set features a bivalved speculum geometry that separates the vaginal walls and creates a working channel to the cervix. Interchangeable blades that mount to the included handle allow clinicians to adjust blade size and profile to patient anatomy without changing the handle, improving efficiency during successive examinations. The handle provides a secure grip and typically engages a simple locking or ratchet mechanism to maintain the blades in the open position for hands‑free exposure.
