Clinical Application

This pediatric lead hand splint is used to support, position and stabilize the hand and individual digits during pediatric hand surgery, fracture reduction, K-wire placement, tendon repairs and wound exposure. Its smaller, child-sized geometry allows more precise alignment of phalanges and decreased bulk around the surgical field, improving access for microsurgical and reconstructive procedures. The radiopaque core provides a visible reference under intraoperative fluoroscopy to confirm digit alignment and hardware placement without adding separate reference tools.
