Clinical Application
This Lambotte bone osteotome is intended for controlled cutting, shaving and shaping of cortical bone during orthopedic, trauma and reconstructive procedures. The instrument is used to perform osteotomies, to create bone windows, to remove bone spurs, and to contour bone surfaces where precise, mallet-assisted chisel bites are required.
Design & Configuration
The curved Lambotte profile provides improved line-of-sight and approach angle for working along contoured bone surfaces and within deeper surgical corridors. A 25 mm blade width delivers broader, more stable bites for larger bone segments, while the 23 cm overall length gives additional reach in deeper operative fields. The chisel-style cutting face is ground for predictable penetration and controlled advancement when struck with a mallet or used manually for delicate bone work.
