Clinical Application

Designed for removal and shaping of bone and cancellous material in confined or anatomically curved spaces. Commonly used in orthopedic procedures, spine surgery, hand and foot surgery, otolaryngology, and other specialties where precise scooping or debridement of bone is required. The scoop-style Fig.3 tip facilitates controlled harvesting of graft material and removal of osteophytes, subchondral bone, or fibrotic bone tissue.

Design & Configuration

The malleable shaft allows intraoperative contouring to follow the patient’s anatomy and reach around curved surfaces or into narrow cavities without repeatedly exchanging instruments. At 21 cm overall length the instrument provides reach for deeper operative fields while preserving tactile feedback and control. The Fig.3 spoon-style tip balances a scooping profile with a working edge that enables precise scraping and collection of bone material.
