Clinical Application
Provides controlled percussive force for bone-working instruments such as osteotomes, chisels and implant trial impactors. Used routinely in orthopedic, trauma, maxillofacial and ENT procedures for osteotomy, bone contouring, seating implants and controlled adjustments of bony fragments. The design supports reproducible strikes and tactile feedback to help avoid excessive force to adjacent structures.
Design & Configuration
The F-style handle is shaped to offer a secure ergonomic grip for single-hand striking while wearing surgical gloves. The mallet head is configured to deliver concentrated, predictable impact energy through a broad striking surface to reduce glancing blows and improve control when driving chisels or seating components. Handle geometry and head-to-handle junction are designed to optimize tactile feedback and minimize transmitted vibration for repeatable use in the operating room.
